The 1832 United States presidential election was held from November 2 - December 5, 1832. The election was a contest between Democratic Party candidate incumbent President Andrew Jackson, National Republican Party candidate Henry Clay, Nullifier Party candidate John Floyd, and Anti-Masonic Party candidate William Wirt. Andrew Jackson emerged as the winner, securing 219 electoral votes to Henry Clay’s 49 electoral votes, John Floyd’s 11 electoral votes, and William Wirt’s 7 electoral votes.
