On Tuesday, June 7, California held primary elections for one U.S. Senate seat and all 52 U.S. House seats. In California, the top two candidates advance to the general election regardless of party affiliation.   • Alex Padilla (D) and Mark Meuse (R) advanced to the general election.

  • California’s 1st Congressional District: Doug LaMalfa (R) and Max Steiner (D) advanced to the general election.

  • California’s 2nd Congressional District: Jared Huffman (D) and Douglas Brower (R) advanced to the general election.

  • California’s 3rd Congressional District: Kevin Kiley (R) and Kermit Jones (D) advanced to the general election.

  • California’s 4th Congressional District: Mike Thompson (D) and Matt Brock (R) advanced to the general election.

  • California’s 5th Congressional District: Tom McClintock (R) and Michael Barkley (D) advanced to the general election.

  • California’s 6th Congressional District: Ami Bera (D) and Tamika Hamilton (R) advanced to the general election.

  • California’s 7th Congressional District: Doris Matsui (D) and Max Semenenko (R) advanced to the general election.
