2022 Texas U.S. House Primary Election Results


On Tuesday, March 1, Texas held primary elections for all 38 U.S. House seats.

 

U.S. House Results:

  •  Texas' 1st Congressional District:

    • Democratic Primary - Jrmar Jefferson and advanced to a runoff election.

      • Jrmar Jefferson won the runoff election on May 24 to become the Democratic nominee.

    • Republican Primary - Nathaniel Moran won the Republican nomination.

  • Texas' 2nd Congressional District:

    • Democratic Primary - Robin Fulford won the Democratic nomination.

    • Republican Primary - Dan Crenshaw won the Republican nomination.

  • Texas' 3rd Congressional District:

    • Democratic Primary - Sandeep Srivastava won the Democratic nomination. *Unopposed primary.

    • Republican Primary - Van Taylor won the Republican nomination.

  • Texas' 4th Congressional District:

    • Democratic Primary - Iro Omere won the Democratic nomination. *Unopposed primary.

    • Republican Primary - Pat Fallon won the Republican nomination.

  • Texas' 5th Congressional District:

    • Democratic Primary - Tartisha Hill won the Democratic nomination.

    • Republican Primary - Lance Gooden won the Republican nomination. *Unopposed primary.

  • Texas' 6th Congressional District:

    • Democratic Primary – No candidate filed.

    • Republican Primary - Jake Ellzey won the Republican nomination.

  • Texas' 7th Congressional District:

    • Democratic Primary - Lizzie Fletcher won the Democratic nomination. *Unopposed primary.

    • Republican Primary -Johnny Teague and Tim Stroud advanced to a runoff election.

      • Johnny Teague won the runoff election on May 24 to become the Republican nominee.
