On Tuesday, August 16, 2022, Wyoming held primary elections for the U.S. House At-Large Congressional District. Please view the full results on the Wyoming Secretary of State website.


Incumbent Rep. Liz Cheney lost her re-election primary bid by more than 30 points to Trump-backed candidate Harriet Hageman. Cheney faced backlash from Republicans after she voted to impeach former President Trump, and joined the U.S. House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol. Cheney plans to launch a political action committee following her primary defeat to oppose Trump candidates. Cheney is also considering a campaign for president in 2024.

  • Democratic Primary - Lynnette GreyBull won the Democratic nomination.

  • Republican Primary - Harriet Hageman won the Republican nomination.
